Fr. Charles William Harman became the Council's new Chaplain in late May 1954.
He had just been ordained May 5, 1954 and was assigned to St. Jerome parish May 14; he gave his inspiring speeches on matters of Faith and against Communism while pacing around the small American Legion meeting room; he was a member of the council bowling team and the Paul Revere Committee.
