SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Knights of Columbus Fr. Emil Kapaun Council #3744 is pleased to offer an annual Scholarship Program, a long standing tradition of charity for deserving graduating 8th and 12th grade students from our local parishes.  Every year, ten scholarship awards of $1,000 each are presented.

During the year, the Knights of Columbus host Friday Night Fish Fry Dinners and other fundraising events to raise Scholarship funds.  Please come out and support these events that significantly fund our scholarships!

Joseph Toia Memorial Scholarship - Long time member and generous Council 3744 supporter Brother Knight Joseph Toia passed away on December 13, 2016.  As an expression of Joe's love for the Knights, his family requested that, in lieu of flowers at his funeral, donations be made to the Council 3744 Scholarship program. Brother Joe Toia's wife Lori and the Toia family have also pledged to support the establishment of a perpetual annual scholarship in Joe's memory and the initial scholarship was awarded at the 2017 Scholarship Breakfast.

To donate to this perpetual scholarship, please send checks made payable to Knights of Columbus #3744, Attn: Ed Stokx, 8049 W Manchester Ave, Playa del Rey, CA  90293 ("Toia Scholarship" in the memo section).  For more information or to donate by credit card, please contact Paul Condran PGK at 310-505-4616.
