Memorial Mass

Each year in mid-November, Council 3744 celebrates an intimate Mass and memorial presentation for Brother Knights, Ladies of Columbus, and spouses of active Knights who have passed away in the year since the last Memorial Mass.

The Memorial Mass takes place at the Council Hall and is celebrated by Council Chaplain Msgr James Forsen, with music provided by Brother Ken Lockwood and his wife Laura. See our Photo Album for pictures taken over the years.

The names of the deceased Brother Knights who are added to the perpetual memorial plaque in the Hall are read aloud and a moving homily is provided by our Chaplain. Thank you Brother Michael Rachford PGK for organizing and leading this beautiful event.
